When I started taking all this art making seriously and practicing in my notebook, I was placing faces on things. When I wasn't sure what to draw, I would always just doodle something and then put a face on it. When in doubt -- put a face on it!
We interact with objects and things so often, that I can't help but think people can relate to them. These items can symbolize life right now, like a pool and summer, or they can be something you just can't live without, like a nice cup of tea.
This summer has been one for the record books, hasn't it? And although it's been dark at times and, maybe, we haven't been able to do the things we normally would, I decided to draw a few things that spark joy during these hot months, and of course, put faces on them.
